GKonomics has an all-volunteer Council who oversees GKonomics' programs and whose members have committed their time and expertise to fulfill our mission of helping the poor through social entrepreneurship.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR: Antonio Cojuancgo
As Business Development Director, Tony is committed to assist our GKON entrepreneurs with strategic business advice and scaling up opportunities. Tony is one of the Philippines' top business tycoons - President of The Landmark Corporation, former President and Chief Executive Officer of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company, Chairman of The Landmark Corporation, CAP Life Insurance Corporation, Bank of Commerce, FCB Manila and CAP Life Insurance Corporation, The National Museum, Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company, an Independent Director at Shang Properties, Inc. and Kuok Philippine Properties Inc., board member of C and O Investment Realty Corporation, and Philippine Telecommunications Investment Corporation.
MARKETING DIRECTOR: Amor Maclang
As Marketing Director, Amor Maclang assists our GKON entrepreneurs with marketing, public relations, and branding strategies. Amor is the founder of topnotch consulting firm Geiser Maclang and is a globally Award-Winning Brand Architect, Risk, Crisis & Reputation Strategist, and Marketing & Communications Innovator.
FINANCE & TAX DIRECTOR: Noriel Cruz
As FInance & Tax Director, Noriel Cruz assists our GKON entrepreneurs in ensuring financial viability and BIR compliance of their enterprises. Noriel is the founding partner at Strategic Dimension Co. which offers services ranging from basic accounting services such as bookkeeping and payroll processing, to audit services and systems design, to the more complex financial services such as packaging of financial transactions, corporate restructuring, financial advisory and tax consultancy. It caters to both foreign (based in Singapore, Hongkong, Canada, Denmark, Australia, Japan, France, Malaysia and the US) and local clients in various industries.
MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR: Mark Chan
As Mentorship Director, Mark Chan assists our GKON entrepreneurs with practical guidance on the day-to-day challenges of running the business. Mark used to head the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) management program, having graduated with distinction there in 2008 after attending UCLA Anderson School of Business and the University of Toronto. Mark has taught business courses at AIM, Arellano University, The Princeton Review, and MINT College, and has worked at Johnson & Johnson and as business consultant for a number of startups across a number of industries.
EMPOWERMENT DIRECTOR: Memey Mendoza
As Empowerment Director, Melizza "Memey" Mendoza assists our GKON entrepreneurs with values formation and empowerment program. Memey has 18 years of professional experience in mainstream sales, marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility with SMART Communications, Samsung, and Unilever,and has done pioneering work in social enterprise as co-founder of Rags to RIches, consultant in APEC Schools, and business development head at Human Nature.
LEGAL AFFAIRS DIRECTOR: Atty Tito Bundang
As Legal Affairs Director, Atty. Augusto "Tito" Bundang assists our GKON entrepreneurs with guidance on legal issues, especially regarding compliance with labor laws and intellectual property protection. Tito is a senior partner at the law firm Sapalo Velez Bundang & Bulilan and is the former president of the Intellectual property Lawyers Association.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Rose Cabrera
As the Executive Director of GKONOMICS, Rose is responsible for the overall oversight of GKONOMICS. Rose served as Executive Director for ANCOP Foundation USA from 2002-2008, spearheading and growing the Gawad Kalinga network in the United States. A lawyer by profession (graduated from UCLA School of Law), Rose practiced commercial law in California for 10 years before giving up her legal career in the US to focus on helping building a lasting foundation for social justice for future generations.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER: Pinky Poe
As the Chief Financial Officer, Pinky oversees the financials of GKONOMICS to ensure transparency and sustainability. Pinky was one of the first social entrepreneurs to work with Gawad Kalinga communities, first with a landscape maintenance service then with an internet center in GK pinagsama, and her learnings served as valuable tools in getting GKONOMICS started in 2009. She is currently taking part in a Masters program in Social Entrepreneurship in Ateneo under Mr. Manuel Morato to help GKON and related social enterprises in achieving sustainability.
DESIGN & COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR: Ric Gindap
As Design & Communications Director, Ric Gindap oversees the communications and messaging of GKONOMICS to keep the inspiration going. Ric is the founder of Design for Tomorrow, one of the country's topnotch branding strategy & design experts.
PARTNERSHIPS DIRECTOR: Ronna Makalinao
As Partnerships Director, Ronna Makalinao facilitates partnerships and social impact investments for GKONOMICS. Ronna is a co-founder of the Board Room, a community working space at the Robins Design Center in Ortigas. Her infectious passion serves GKONOMICS’ goodness multiplier efforts so well.
BNG DIRECTOR: Daniel Lumain
As the Be the Next GKonomist Director, Daniel Lumain heads our drive to find and tap committed social entrepreneurs. He is being assisted by fellow AKABA co-founders, EJ Mariano and Alex Fong, as GKON youth ambassadors.
SCHOLARSHIP DIRECTOR: Nadie Tayag
As the Scholarship Program Director, Nadie Tayag oversees the GKONOMICS scholarship program. Nadie is a retired IT professional and business owner, and a mother of two. She hopes to guide the GKON scholars and ensure their successful completion of their respective courses.
